Languedoc & Roussillon wines

Languedoc and Roussillon, located in southwest France, are renowned for their quality wines at affordable prices. The region's warm, dry Mediterranean climate, combined with a wide variety of soils, enables the production of many different styles of wine, from powerful, spicy reds to fresh, fruity whites.

The grape varieties most commonly used to produce red wines in this region are Syrah, Grenache and Carignan, while white wines are generally produced from varieties such as Chardonnay and Viognier. Rosé wines are also very popular here, often made from a blend of red and white grape varieties.
